Visited from Porto via the vintage line 1 tram . €8 return well worth it . Nice break from the challenging hills of the city . Local market on the day we went that was situated alongside the beach .

I could happily have spent the entire week I spent in Porto walking the streets, but I did make two trips to the coast, one of which was to this delightful beach. As with the city, expect to pay to us

We were there in May. I think it was a little too chilly to swim, but with the sun beating down, a nice strong breeze and beautiful weather, it was a lovely place for a stroll.
