The Crawfish Hut is messy, fun, and easily the most approachable seafood boil experience in the Seattle area. Its bright dining room has the energy and look of a casual sports bar, with just enough wall netting to meet the legally required nautical decor quota for its genre. Upon entering, the wonderful smell of cajun spice and brine makes us wish we could instantaneously blink ourselves into bibs and gloves I Dream of Jeannie-style. And their sauces go far beyond the usual melted-butter-plus-salt routine, turning pounds of shell-on seafood into an exciting adventure. They even run happy hour boils, which means you can roll in solo for shrimp, potatoes, and corn for under $50, or come with friends and mix and match without needing to be wheeled out afterward.
