Clay’s is one entirely forgettable room with well-worn booths lining the walls and TVs playing a wide array of whatever sporting event is in season. Most of the menu items are decent, standard pub fare like thick mozzarella stix and fries so loaded down with spicy Cajun seasoning we could hardly see the fries. But the one outstanding part of this Sandy Springs spot is their wings. Plump flats and drums come in 19 flavors like our go-to lemon pepper, hot honey BBQ, and jerk. We wouldn’t necessarily choose Clay’s to eat or even to watch a game (peep the best sports bars in ATL for better game day situations). But the wings are some of the best in the city, so we kinda have to keep coming back.
