Anatolian Table is the Mission’s catch-all restaurant. The Turkish spot on the crowd-magnet that is the corner of 18th and Valencia draws in a continuous stream of couples seeking a nice weeknight date, solo diners looking to spend some time with a glass of Greek wine at the bar, and sun-beaten post-Dolores groups. They're all here for anything coming out of the oven, from platters of lahmacun and buttery mantarli pide to house bread. Plus, it's walk-in-only and never too hard to snag a table, which is an advantage on Friday nights when everyone forgot to make plans. Just show up, put your name down, and be fine with the fact that you'll soon be at least 75% flatbread.
