Its name comes from President Theodore Roosevelt's favorite euphemism for "bullshit." The logo of the restaurant is a depiction of Roosevelt. It was founded in 1979 by Gordon King.

Close to the Capital Building and steps away from the metro station. Arrived around 5 ish for dinner. The bar area was hopping but the dining room had plenty of tables. Seated quickly and our waitress
Take-out order of mac n' cheese was decent and included a very tasty and moist piece of cornbread. Mac n' cheese rating on a scale of 1-10 is a 7 for interesting use of Penne pasta instead of macaroni
Good food and nice and quick service. Close to the Capital easy walking distance. Good fries.
