About

Located on the top floor, with lift, of the Luigi Rovati Foundation, in a magnificent historic building renovated according to certified sustainability criteria and which also houses a very refined Art Museum, chef patron Andrea Aprea crowns the dream of a restaurant of his own: a space of great scenic impact, totally projected towards the open kitchen, with the walls of the central room covered in bucchero (the characteristic black ceramic used by the Etruscans to make their vases). It is here that you can admire the chef and his brigade intent on preparing the dishes of the three tasting menus: Contemporaneità, a 4-course creative itinerary dedicated to the relationship between memory and innovation (you will often find pigeon here); Partenope, a 6-course journey into the suggestions of Campania (how not to mention the tortello alla genovese di manzo with escarole, provolone del Monaco and black olives); Signature, a profound and prolonged experience into the philosophy and personal history of the chef in 8 courses identified by the vintage (it was 2016, for example, the first time he cooked the dessert strawberry with maraschino, mascarpone and nepetella). In the secret green courtyard of the building in Corso Venezia 52 is the Caffè Bistrot, where classic Italian flavours can be sampled from breakfast to dinner.
