It has sticky floors, six shooters mounted on the walls, and clunky-but-energetic bar bands that occasionally battle with feedback. The party vibe is cranked up even on dreary nights, so grab that draft of Shiner Bock and embrace it. Just note that you may need to eat before most shows here—Slim's serves a decently sized menu focused on chili, but the kitchen closes at 8pm.
