There’s no shortage of smiling regulars at Karilagan in South San Francisco. That’s thanks to the generously-portioned food that keeps people coming back. Our never-changing order is the garlic-heavy longsilog, kare-kare that hits your nose with peanuts before every bite, and ending with the never-too-sweet banana turon. It’s walk-ins only, but even with a full dining room, tables turn over quickly.
