You’re never in any danger of missing a goal at Bloodsports because at this American sports bar in Covent Garden, there’s even a plasma in the bogs. A subterranean-feeling bachelor pad with no fewer than 30 screens, this bar from the Meatliquor team is a more than serviceable place to hang out and watch a game. If you’re with a mate, pitch up at one of the counters with a basket of decent buffalo wings. Arsenal stinking the place out again? Shift your eyeballs an inch and see Spurs concede a second. Almost every inch of wall in this place is taken up by a screen and after full time, classic horror movies play until 2am. There’s also a pool table where some of central London’s trendier cohort take residence alongside frozen margaritas. It isn’t gritty and feels a little contrived, but it’s very useful to have in Covent Garden.
