The 16,000 sq.ft. Village Square Branch opened on April 16, 2016. The library is LEED Certified and features a Children's Area, Teen Room, Quiet Study Room, two group meeting rooms, and an Internet Cafe. In addition, this is the only SJPL branch offering Open+ which provides self service access to the Library on select days. The library serves the residents of Council District 8 and sits in a mixed use residential/ commercial area off Ruby Ave.
