Along with Peet's Coffee, the Cheese Board is known for its role in starting the North Shattuck neighborhood of Berkeley on its way to becoming famous as a culinary destination: the "Gourmet Ghetto".

Went on a weekday afternoon and there was no line at all. The pizza was delicious and of course you have to get the green sauce. I like that there's some searing indoors and outdoors. I honestly can't
Just a quick note: the bakery and cheese shop is currently in a temporary space, this yellow trailer just outside the pizzeria. Same amazing baked goods and limited cheese selection as the Collective
In a temp spot, and it still works. Got some hot honey and muffin. Can't miss after grabbing some pizza.
