Very cool beach to spend the day at! Very soft sand with lots of shells and treasures to discover. At low tide, tide pools can be explored that are teeming with muscles, star fish, and sea anemonies!

After a visit to North Chesterman Beach, I carried on to Cox Bay Beach. Once again quite average, similar to North Chesterman Beach and perhaps the weather had a part to play on the rating.

Great beach. Came to take photos of the surfers/waves. The water is definitely rougher here (higher waves), so that’s something to consider if you have young kids that would like to swim.
