The Nonni’s menu pulls from across Europe, but the common thread in most of its dishes–as well as the cozy, sun-drenched space–is pure comfort. The baked goat cheese crepe is tangy and rich, and the beef stroganoff, with silky mushroom sauce, tastes like it was made by an Eastern European grandma who happened to attend French culinary school. If you also find comfort in being financially responsible, stop in between 4 and 6 PM for their Hygge menu, and get huge portions of savory risotto carbonara and grilled pork belly over polenta for $17 or less. And Sunday visits are in order for the live jazz.
