Palm Pizza is the casual sibling to Bufalina down the street, trading Neapolitan rounds for oversized New York slices and large 18” pies. The setup is very casual: order at the counter inside, then grab a spot at a picnic table under the palm-shaded canopy—hence the name—for a quieter alternative to the inevitable game-day chaos across the way at Chalmer’s. The menu is simple—pizzas, meatball and italian subs, salads, and a few desserts, plus a solid lineup of wines by the glass or bottle. The pizzas themselves are thin, foldable, and topped with pretty classic, high-quality ingredients. At $30+ a pie, Palm isn’t redefining the genre in a city with a surprisingly strong roster—especially because the crust leans a little more bready than chewy—but it’s a great option when you’re in the neighborhood.
