Kharkiv Raion is a raion of Kharkiv Oblast in eastern Ukraine. Its administrative center is the city of Kharkiv. Population: 1,729,049. On 18 July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Kharkiv Oblast was reduced to seven, and the area of Kharkiv Raion was significantly expanded.
