The campground staff is incredibly kind! The location is conveniently located to DFW, while still having the rustic camping feeling in the woods.

My first thought was how large the park is. There is a long drive from check-in to camp sites. Although it is large in area, there are not many available campsites. There appears to be two areas. One

Ranger station no good. Hardly anyone there. Does not answer the phone when needed. No help whatsoever. Waited 30 minutes, was told there would be someone at 8am. It was 9:30.
