The airport is owned by the Panama City-Bay County Airport & Industrial District. and is north of Panama City Beach, Florida, near West Bay. It replaced Panama City–Bay County International Airport (Fannin Field, PFN), which was in Panama City.

There's something about these smaller easy airports that make traveling almost enjoyable and this is definitely one of them. Employees are nice and food options are decent for an airport of its size.
