Newcomb is a town in Essex County, New York, United States. The population was 436 at the 2010 census. The town is on the western border of the county. It is 86 miles by road southwest of Plattsburgh, 77 miles southwest of Burlington, Vermont, 110 miles northeast of Utica, 112 miles north-northwest of Albany, and 146 miles south-southwest of Montreal. The town is inside the Adirondack Park and contains the Lake Harris Campground. The town is the largest by area in Essex County.
