Also known as The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, is the global headquarters for the Christian Science Church, founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879. The Church conducts local Sunday church services, Sunday School for young people up to the age of 20, and Wednesday evening testimony meetings. The Mother Church also offers tours of both the Original Edifice and the Extension, which features one of the largest pipe organs in the world. Everyone is welcome.

I did not know that Boston was the home of Christian Science until our visit, and it was not something we came to Boston to see. However, the church and its reflecting pond happened to be very close .
