Helland is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated 2+1⁄2 miles north of Bodmin. The meaning of the name Helland is unclear: it is possible that the origin is in Cornish hen& lan. The original dedication of the church is unknown but St Helena is now recognised as the patron. The village is referred to in the Domesday Book as Henland.
