Visited with our two boys, parked in car park nearest the cafe. Arrived at 9.45am and easily found a spade. Nice peaceful walk/ scoot to park. Not too busy so found a nice picnic bench. Park very cle.

Still not enough park benches for older visitors. Now getting very difficult for my wife and I to complete our walk round the lake. The picnic tables near the beach are welcome - but swampy after rain

A great place but they desperately need to fence off the reeds in the mini beach- a bad accident waiting to happen as it’s also unsupervised and lots of children going into them.
