Spokane Falls Community College, part of the Community Colleges of Spokane, opened in 1967 in west Spokane, south of Riverside State Park, on a 113-acre campus. SFCC offers programs for students seeking an associate degree, with some 66 percent of SFCC students preparing to transfer to four-year institutions.
