For a while the big casino hotels were content to ignore the boutique-hotel revolution, but we’re seeing increasing signs of stylishness even on the Strip. The Sahara was a favorite of the Rat Pack, but rather than recall its mid-century heyday, it’s had a 21st-century makeover, with each of its three towers following its own eclectic style. Restaurants and bars are too numerous to list, but include Bazaar Meat by José Andres; amenities include a spa, a fitness studio, and multiple pools, as well as a theatre featuring star-studded live shows and residencies, and, inevitably, a casino, Club 52.
