Parete is a comune in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 15 kilometres northwest of Naples and about 20 kilometres southwest of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,597 and an area of 5.7 square kilometres. Parete borders the following municipalities: Giugliano in Campania, Lusciano, and Trentola-Ducenta. The area of Parete is famous for the production of peaches, strawberries and Aversa Asprinio wine.
