Danbury is a village in the City of Chelmsford district, in the county of Essex, England. It is located 33.5 miles northeast of Charing Cross, London and has a population of approximately 6,500. It is situated on a hill 367 feet above sea level. The city of Danbury, Connecticut in the United States is named after the village.
