Araxá is a municipality in the state of Minas Gerais, in the Western Region of Brazil. It is located approximately 370 kilometers northwest of the state capital Belo Horizonte, with an area of 1,283 square kilometres, and 3.45 square kilometres designated as the urban perimeter. As of 2022, the population is 111,691.
