There are lots of plants, wall-mounted surrealist paintings, and blown glass light fixtures—but it’s also cozy, with an open kitchen and plenty of leather booths. The food, too, is creative and fun but still comforting, like the truffle udon carbonara, which has the perfect cream-to-truffle ratio, and the hot, creamy spicy crab dip, which is perfect for sharing. Prices are on the high side (as you'd expect for the area), but this spot works for everything from business lunches to date nights and special occasions.
