Box Head is a coastal locality in the Central Coast Council local government area located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. It is within Bouddi National Park which includes the island of Lion Island. Box has a close proximity to several beaches, including Iron Ladder Beach, Lobster Beach and Tallow Beach. The headland itself marks the northern entrance to Broken Bay from the Tasman Sea. Box Head refers to the large headland that viewed from the ocean resembles a box.
