Swarland is a small modern village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Newton-on-the-Moor and Swarland, in the county of Northumberland, England, situated about 7 miles south of the market town of Alnwick and 25 miles north of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne. In 1951 the parish had a population of 368.
