Holsworthy is a suburb in south-western Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located roughly 31 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Liverpool. It is the largest suburb in Sydney by area. Holsworthy is best known for the Holsworthy Barracks, a large Australian Army reserve where training exercises frequently occur.
