Stokesley is a market town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. It lies within the historic county boundaries of the North Riding of Yorkshire, on the River Leven. An electoral ward of the same name stretches south to Great Broughton and had a population at the 2021 Census of 6,180. Stokesley is about two miles south of the Middlesbrough borough boundary and eight miles south of Middlesbrough town centre.
