The Riverside Museum is a museum in the Partick area of Glasgow, Scotland, housed in a building designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, with its River Clyde frontage at the new Pointhouse Quay. It forms part of the Glasgow Harbour regeneration project. The building opened in June 2011, winning the 2013 European Museum of the Year Award. It houses many exhibits of national and international importance.

Really nice local attraction that was free to visit. My daughter really enjoyed the exhibits on display and that you can go inside some of the vehicles. Nice riverside views also.
If you are looking for somewhere to take the kids out of the rain, this museum is a must-visit. The fact that it is free is a huge bonus, and there is so much to see. The hands-on, interactive section
Fantastic day out with lots to see and marvel over. Free entry too is always good and we spent a good few hours there. I particularly loved the steam engines and the heavy engineering turbines on the
