Årdalstangen is the administrative centre of Årdal Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is one of the two main population centers in the municipality, along with the village of Øvre Årdal. The 1.12-square-kilometre village has a population of 1,375 and a population density of 1,228 inhabitants per square kilometre.
