Box Hill is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Box Hill is located 48 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of The Hills Shire and is part of the Hills District region. Box Hill is a rapidly growing new release area of The Hills Shire Council in North West Sydney. Box Hill Precinct is planned under the NSW Government's North West Priority Growth Area along with other release areas, such as North Kellyville.
