The must-order at Dunwoody's Novo Cucina is the fantastic gnocchi alla vodka, which makes any similar dishes in the city taste like dollar store playdough. They're so confident in this dish, they put the prep station right near the entrance, where staff hand roll pillows of gnocchi, almost daring you to order something else. But even if you stray here (though you shouldn't), it's not a complete loss, since this Italian restaurant excels in a number of categories. Housemade flat noodles like tagliatelle barely need chewing. Fire-charred Neapolitan pizzas make good starters for the table. And creamy, made-daily gelatos come in more flavors than you’ll find at an ice cream shop (try the banana pudding). Come for lunch or dinner, and grab a seat on the tree-lined patio, which is guaranteed to fill with families, coworkers, and neighborhood regulars.
