Alpharetta, on the fringes of the Atlanta metro area, is a city unto itself, albeit a small one — and in the Hamilton it’s got a luxury boutique hotel to rival those in the capital. The architecture is classical in inspiration, and unlikely to ruffle any local feathers, while the interiors take things in a more eclectic (though still elegant) direction, with modern and contemporary elements alongside nods to tradition. And the public spaces make the Hamilton a proper local meeting place, from CC’s, the patio bar, to Fulton’s Public House and the Parisian-style Carrie’s Conservatory.
