The emergency department at Sentara Leigh Hospital is focused on providing high-quality care to patients with shorter length of stays. All Sentara emergency departments are equipped to handle a variety of emergencies. Emergency medicine board-certified or board-eligible physicians staff all emergency departments. On-call specialists may be utilized to assist with patient care in the emergency department.
