Smithville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place located within Galloway Township, in Atlantic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that was established as part of the 2010 United States Census. Smithville is located 15 miles north of and inland from Atlantic City. As of the 2010 Census, the CDP's population was 7,242.
