The E. Claiborne Robins School of Business is a part of the University of Richmond and was established in 1949. It offers undergraduate, graduate and executive education programs, and was named after alumnus E. Claiborne Robins Sr in 1979. Robins, the grandson of Albert Hartley Robins, founder of the A.H. Robins pharmaceutical company, was a major University of Richmond benefactor, with he and his family donating in excess of $175 million to the university.
