Uchida Sports - Excellent friendly Japanese run ski/snowboard hire, best place in the town, very reasonable rates compared to other hire places in Akakura Onsen, also a great selection of performance

Such a good mountain & ski area for young kids, beginners & the odd intermediate run. The Elegant run is just beautiful, such a fitting name. Sooooo much powder this season too, it really was unbeliev

Lots of flat areas and walking links, bit of a pain for snowboards Few lifts not running so you couldn't use the whole resort which wasnt mentioned when we brought our pass
