Sunnyside–Tahoe City is a census-designated place in Placer County, California, located on the northwest shore of Lake Tahoe. The population was 1,557 at the 2010 census, down from 1,761 at the 2000 census, and a total area of 3.4 sq mi, all of it land. It includes the two communities, Sunnyside, and Tahoe City.
