Tubigon is a 1st municipal income class municipality and seaport in the province of Bohol, Philippines, at 51 kilometres from Tagbilaran. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 45,893. In the 2016 electoral roll, it had 26,394 registered voters. Tubigon is well known for its "lambay" crabs. It is the nearest seaport in Bohol to Cebu, providing many daily ferry round-trips to Cebu City. It has recently expanded its seaport to accommodate additional sea traffic. ^ "Region VII ".
