The Base is a regional shopping centre located in Te Rapa, in the New Zealand city of Hamilton. The centre consists of the original The Base outdoor strip mall, as well as the more recent Te Awa or Te Awa at The Base (still commonly referred to as The Base) large enclosed shopping mall.
