Macita’s is a Colombian restaurant with two locations in the southern reaches of Miami-Dade County. The one in Kendall makes a great beef sancocho, tostones with hogao, and arepas de choclo. The restaurant is part bakery too, and has a ventanita, so you can get a quick cortado and a warm buñuelo if you don’t have time to sit and eat. Even though it’s open until 9pm most days, it’s best to come here in the morning or for lunch, when everything from the bakery is still steaming.
