The Archbishopric Cathedral of Bogotá is a Roman Catholic cathedral located at the eastern side of Bolívar Square in Bogotá, D.C., Colombia. It is seat of the Archbishop of Bogotá, Cardinal Mon. Ruben Salazar Gomez. The Cathedral was built between 1807 and 1823. It is said to be built by descendants of Jesuit missionaries.

The cathedral is the largest in Colombia and perhaps South America. It’s very nice inside and has undergone a renovation. . Worth a look.
Beautiful cathedral but unfortunately the inside is all covered up with white cloths I suppose for restoration! So I cannot really comment. The chapel next door instead of was fully visibile in its gr
