Ute Mountain is territory of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, a sovereign Tribal nation. These lands are located in the Western United States though those borders, published by the United States Federal Government, may not represent the full extent of their ancestral lands as many nations were forced to relocate and their lands taken.
