Our friend raved about this place, so we came with high expectations, but my first impression wasn't great. We didn't get our friend's usual hibachi chef. Ours was friendly but not engaging--no tricks

The food was good as always. Service was also good. But the presentation was less dramatic than what I remembered from the past. This chef went through the motions but did not interact with the diners
