Chewacla State Park is a public recreation area occupying 696 acres below Interstate 85 on the far south side of Auburn, Alabama. The state park's central feature, 26-acre Lake Chewacla, provides opportunities for fishing, swimming, and non-motorized boating.

Been here several times and always amazed at the beauty of this place. Easy trail and beautiful payoff at the end with the waterfall.
Tons of trails but not marked or easy to follow as many intersected each other. The foliage was beautiful and the hikes were mostly easy to moderate. The falls were beautiful and very close to the tr.
While this is convenient to the lovely college town of Auburn, the hiking trails are not well maintained and they are barely marked. There are no trail blazes to guide your way. Would not recommend fo
