Huntington is a city in Cabell and Wayne counties in the U.S. state of West Virginia. The seat of Cabell County, the city is located in SW West Virginia at the confluence of the Ohio and Guyandotte rivers. The population was 46,842 at the 2020 census. According to 2023 census estimates, the city is estimated to have a population of 45,325. Huntington is the second-most populous city in West Virginia.
