Lucasville is a census-designated place in Scioto County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,655 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Portsmouth micropolitan area. Lucasville is the location of the Scioto County Fairgrounds. The Southern Ohio Correctional Facility, Ohio's one of three maximum security prisons and the location of Ohio's death house where death row inmates are executed, is located just outside Lucasville.
